Ultra Sour Strain Review (Namaste)

Ultra sour strain review Info Block

After trying out some  Wappa  by  Namaste, I was pretty excited to try out another one of their products, and this Ultra Sour strain review will show you that I enjoyed this cultivar as well! It’s a Sativa-dominant strain, and the Ultra Sour I tried out had 17.5% THC and an inconsiderable amount of CBD.

The taste and aroma of this weed are pretty intense thanks to the  terpinolenelimonenebeta-pinene, and  caryophyllene  terpenes, and the high will get you feeling just right.

Appearance: 2.5/5

The colors on this bud stood out; you can see many orange pistils coming out of the deep green nugs covered in trichomes. Once again, no humidity pouch, but the weed was super fresh. The nugs’ size was decent, a mix of small and big; however, the trimming job was pretty bad. When it comes to bag appeal, this Ultra Sour was average to me.

Aroma: 3.5/5

Some interesting citrusy aromas were floating around the nostrils, pretty unique. It actually reminded me of blood oranges; sweet, fruity, and lemony. The smell becomes even more intense once the nugs are bid up, very impressive.

Definitely my favorite aspect of this whole Ultra Sour strain review. Although the dominant terpene here is terpinolene, and you can feel and taste the freshness that this terpene provides limonene is very present in the scent.

Flavor: 3/5

This was above average for sure, as the flavor and whole smoking experience were quite enjoyable. Initially, it was a sweet, herbal, and citrusy taste, with some diesel notes on the exhale. Very smooth smoke, no coughing or itching in the throat whatsoever, and the joints burn well because of the freshness of the nugs.

Effects: 3.5/5

I’ve heard of people finding this strain with up to 26% THC, which is a lot. The batch I tried is a little more conservative with 17.5% THC, but I still felt pretty stoned. It gave me a pretty euphoric feeling, and I find that this strain would be good for creativity, focus, and not so much to go to sleep.

It can be a good daytime/functional weed for everyday smokers; this terpinolene-dominant strain gives off some really uplifting effects.

Overall: 3/5

In conclusion, I would recommend this strain to beginners and everyday smokers. It’s some really nice smelling and good-looking weed, and for both  Namaste  products that I’ve tried so far, the freshness of the nugs really stand out.

In my opinion, this would be a great strain for socializing and for creativity; I even enjoyed working out after smoking a joint of Ultra Sour!

    1. Like your review I found it very good. My batch is from zenabis what bothers me is I didn’t need a grinder the buds fell apart rub between fingers and its finer than the grinder makes. I am not close to being an authority on cannabis but I feel that it was too dry. I didn’t get “stoned” or feeling high at all, but I felt OK and at 77yrs old OK is good
