Growing weed indoors requires close care of your plants, and most of all the right kind of light. G8LED aimed its panels at both experienced growers and new hobbyists.
The G8LED 600 was a full-spectrum LED panel. As with many LED panels, the "600W" in its name is not a reliable guide to its actual power draw, so check the wall wattage on the label.
It is a large, heavy fixture. Hang it from a support rated well above its weight.
Because the maker's spec pages are no longer online, we could not confirm its exact coverage area, dimensions, weight or spectrum range. Ask the seller for those figures before you buy.
When shopping for an LED grow light, look at dimmable vs. non-dimmable options for your grow space. This model was sold in both versions.

The cost of any grow light is a major concern for both hobbyists and professional growers. LEDs cost more up front than other grow lights, but they use less energy and last longer, according to the University of Minnesota Extension.
Your running cost depends on the light's real wall draw, how many hours it runs, and your local electricity rate. Photoperiod plants usually get about 18 hours of light a day in veg and 12 hours in flower.
Watts measure energy use, not light output. Compare lights by their PPF or PPFD figures as well as their watts.

The Good and The Bad
The G8LED 600 earned a following among indoor growers when it was on the market. Like most LEDs, it ran cooler and used less power than HID lights.
On the downside, it was heavy and expensive for its size. New growers and hobbyists may do better with a smaller, less expensive light that is still sold and supported.

So is the G8LED the best LED grow light? It was a solid option in its day, but buying a light without a working maker or warranty is a risk.
LEDs give off less heat than HPS lights, but they still need airflow. Keep the distance the seller recommends between the panel and your canopy, and raise the light as plants grow.
