Today, I’m sharing my firsthand experience with Star Struck, a Sativa-dominant hybrid from Msiku.

Star Struck has strong bag appeal. The buds aren’t especially tight, but each nug glistens with a generous coating of trichomes, with orange pistils weaving through the emerald green.

What impressed me was that Msiku packed the buds with a Boveda humidity pack, which helps keep them from drying out.

Aroma: 4/5

Opening the container released a blend of spice, earth and cedar-like wood.

Underneath, I picked up subtle lemongrass, clear pine, and a faint trace of Thai basil.

Looking at the terpene profile, limonene was listed first. It is common in citrus peels and likely adds to the zesty notes.

Flavor: 3/5

The flavor didn’t live up to the aroma.

The taste was a subtle mix of fuel-like notes and a hint of spice. There was a whisper of citrus, but it never fully came through.

The cedar, lemongrass and pine aroma stayed the highlight; the taste couldn’t match it.

Effects: 4/5

The potency was obvious right away, with a surge of uplifting energy and euphoria.

As that settled, a soothing calm followed, giving a good balance between energy and relaxation.

For me, it suited social gatherings and relaxed time outdoors with friends.

Effects differ from person to person, and NIDA notes that anxiety, panic and hallucinations are more likely with strong THC products or large amounts. Start low if you're new.

Star Struck is both mentally uplifting and physically relaxing.

The aroma outshines the flavor, but the euphoric yet calming effects make it a solid pick for experienced adult smokers who want a social, creative high.
