Triple Burger Strain Review (Tribal)

The Triple Burger strain is a super-rare old-school strain for connoisseurs who love gassy nugs. If that’s in your court or you want to try something similar, be ready to have all the smoke.

Canadian brand, Tribal, grew a cross between two of the most potent indica strains, GMO and Han Solo Burger, to breed the Triple Burger strain. So expect a significant “body high” and euphoria as icing on the cake. Be careful, though.

Triple Burger has an overwhelming gas scent with woody and spicy notes. Again, it has a strong smell. And only a few connoisseurs will enjoy its funky flavor. Let’s get to know this strain better.

  • Lineage: GMO x GMO x Han Solo Burger
  • Type: Indica-dominant
  • Potency: 23%-30% THC, 0%-1% CBD
  • Terpene Profile: Caryophyllene 1.37%, limonene .784%, myrcene .577%
  • Packaging Details: Packaged on 01/08/2023, tested and reviewed on 01/28/2023 (20 days later)
  • Pricing Details: Purchased 3.5g for $25.60 at SQDC ($7.31 per gram)

Appearance: 4/5

The Triple Burger strain comes in a black plastic container. It’s airtight for freshness, so I never had to worry about rippling the seal as I do with bagged buds. But that’s it about the can. It had no catchy burger design except a big red “THC” label and the name.

This nug takes the look of its celebrity parent, the Han Solo Burger – light green buds with burnt amber-colored hairs and an abundance of crystal trichomes. If I had about an ounce of this strain, no doubt I’d have attempted to extract kief to get the best of its cannabis trichomes.

Aroma: 5/5

I’ll say it clearly. If you hate the Triple Burger strain’s aroma, then you bought the wrong product or skipped your research. The smell hits you when you open the can and prep the flowers for the grinder. It’s hard to dodge the straight punch of woody gasoline funk to your nose.

It’s straight gas for me.

But some folk say they perceive floral hints and skunk that smells like a swamp. But the predominant flavor you’ll get is gasoline, which I loved and knew heading in. That way, you don’t spend a few bucks on kush that you’ll find repulsive – the worst!

Flavor: 4/5

Connoisseurs know a strong-smelling strain would taste even better. The Triple Burger hits that mark. To put it clearly, its flavor is a mix of incense, pine, cedar, and gasoline. Lots of gasoline.

If you think you’d struggle to handle the smell of the buds, it only gets “worse” when you take a whiff of it burning.

Effects: 4/5

I’ll use this avenue to remind you that the Triple Burger crosses two heavily Indica dominant strains— GMO is 90%, and Han Solo Burger is 80% indica. So best believe me when I say this guy has a strong buzz.

I got sedated pretty fast and hard. The high is one of deep relaxation and euphoria: perhaps 80% body high and 20% head high. All I could do after smoking a bowl was reflect on a long day, sleep deeply, and wake up with dry eyes.

Ideally, though, the Triple Burger Strain is known for its pain relief and anxiety-soothing effects.

Overall: 4/5

If there’s anything you should take away from the Triple Burger Strain review, this nugget is not for the faint at heart. It looks fine but smells like skunk gas. And it transcends into an earthy and spicy flavor.

Nonetheless, the Triple Burger hits all the right places if you love pungent, funky, and dank strains. The buzz hits hard and fast with the guaranteed effects of relaxation and chronic pain relief. But it also instills happiness as the high sets in before creeping into a sleepy state.

Alternatives

The foremost critic of the Triple Strain Burger is undoubtedly its pungent smell. So here are sweeter flavored alternatives with similar effects.

  • Galactic Runtz: similar THC levels, but with smooth, candy-like flavors producing arousal, happy, and relaxing effects.
  • Space Cake: a fruity indica strain with notes of fruits and berries with the same relaxing and pain-relief effects

  1. Got some of the triple burger. Never in 46 years of pot smoking have I ever smelled or tasted a weed so disgusting. Smells like it was grown, stored, and laced with human ceptic tank crud. Is the worst, most disgusting weed I’ve ever been exposed to. I wouldn’t get it again if they paid ME to take it. OMG. Enough to make one stop smoking forever.
