I’ve always been on the hunt for a daytime strain that keeps me creative and motivated without leaving me overwhelmed. That’s what I’ll be talking about in this Paloma strain review.

Paloma is sold as a Sativa-dominant hybrid, so I expected to be giddy and happy. It was part of Weedys' Chapter III collection when I bought it.

The dense, dark green buds caught my eye right away. They were sticky to the touch and covered in white, glistening trichomes.

What really set Paloma apart were the colors: hues of deep purple and vibrant orange mixed into the green. It's one of the prettiest buds I’ve come across.

From the moment I opened the package, the aroma grabbed my attention. Terpinolene was the listed dominant terpene.

I picked up a mix of woody, floral and citrus notes, with the citrus recalling fresh lemons. What struck me most was how fresh it smelled, like a forest on a crisp morning.

Flavor: 4/5

The flavor reminded me of strawberry lemonade, with sweet strawberry up front and a tangy lemon twist. It was an uplifting, refreshing taste.

For me, Paloma brought a wave of giddy euphoria and energy. It suited daytime use and social settings.

As the initial euphoria settled, I felt relaxed but not glued to the couch. I stayed clear-headed while feeling calm.

Some people use cannabis hoping for anxiety relief. NCCIH says only a small amount of evidence suggests cannabis might help reduce anxiety, and Paloma is not a treatment for anxiety or any other condition.

High-THC strains can also cause anxiety. NIDA's cannabis overview notes that anxiety, panic and hallucinations are more likely with strong products or large amounts, so start low.

Paloma is now one of my favorites. From the look to the aroma and flavor, it stands out.

The effects were strong, too. I'd suggest it to experienced adults who like daytime cannabis without getting stuck on the couch. It made me giddy, then eased into relaxation while I could still socialize.
