Cherry Punch Strain Review (Organnicraft)
For this review, I tried out some Cherry Punch produced by Organnicraft purchased at Shelter Market. This hybrid, aromatic cultivar was a high-THC batch with very little CBD.
The label showed a high terpene content, and it definitely showed in the aroma. I hadn't tried Organnicraft products before, and I was thoroughly impressed by this Vernon, BC producer’s attention to detail with this strain. Below is a more in-depth breakdown.
THC, CBD and terpene levels vary by grower and batch, so I'm not listing my container's exact lab numbers.
Lineage: Not listed here; I couldn't confirm the parent strains with the breeder.

Cherry Punch by Organnicraft
This Cherry Punch came in an awesome reusable glass container that had only two fairly large nugs in it. They didn’t look too big but felt very dense and looked so perfectly trimmed that it’s hard to believe they were hand-trimmed. Organnicraft had already answered a few folks on Twitter about that exact question (see below).
Unfortunately, as great as the weed looked, it was slightly underweight at 3.41 grams. Completely covered in trichomes, the rock-hard buds were bright green with some navy hues on the leaves and reddish pistils intertwined.
Let’s talk about moisture content. The RH was 31% in the container, which would usually mean powder-dry weed, but that wasn't the case. It was a little dry, which makes sense since it was packaged a while ago, but the weed still broke up sticky and burned great.
Every thing we do is by hand! No automation or machines involved in any part of the trimming process. We just have high standards for Quality and may have been a bit careful to ensure every bud that was packed was of the highest quality.

Cherry Punch by Organnicraft
This Cherry Punch will make your friends look twice to make sure that it’s actual weed they’re smelling. This really happened to me; my buddy had to take a second look! It's like Black Cherry Punch, but even more cherry; it’s unlike any flower I’ve smelled before.
It’s accented by some heavy skunky and woodsy notes, but that cherry scent is overpowering and very impressive.

Let’s talk smoke first. I love when a joint creates big puffy clouds of smoke, and that was the case with this strain. On top of that, this was some of the smoothest weed I’ve tried so far.
When I tasted the Rockstar Kush Strain, it wasn’t powerful enough, and the flavor was muted. Here, the sweet cherry flavor is quite powerful, especially on the exhale.
Your palate will be quite satisfied smoking this Cherry Punch.

Cherry Punch by Organnicraft
Between the strong aroma and the high THC content, this Cherry Punch definitely packs a…punch. I instantly felt it between the eyes, and this isn’t the type of weed I would give to someone who has never smoked before.
The effects were mostly cerebral to start with, but my body loosened up quite a bit mid-high as well. The main effects lasted for about 60 minutes, and I felt good once they wore off.

When it comes to aroma and flavor, this Cherry Punch cultivar is as unique as they come; people will second-guess that it’s actual weed they’re smelling.
Just like with the similarly potent Black Cherry Punch, I would recommend this to experienced users, but I think beginners should stay away. High-THC products are more likely to cause anxiety or panic in people with little experience, according to NIDA.
Beginners can try White Widow, which was a much lighter and cheaper option when I bought it ($7.14/G).
