For this review, I tried out some Cherry Punch produced by Organnicraft purchased at Shelter Market. This hybrid, aromatic cultivar came with 23.05% THC and an insignificant amount of CBD.
The terpene percentage was high at 3.49%, and it definitely showed in the aroma. I haven’t tried Organnicraft products in the past, and I was thoroughly impressed by this Vernon, BC producer’s attention to detail when it comes to this strain. Below is a more in-depth breakdown.
Lineage: Cherry AK-47 x Purple Punch
Terpene Profile: Myrcene (1.55%), Caryophyllene (0.53%), Limonene (0.38%), Ocimene (0.27%), Pinene (0.21%)
Packaging Details: Packaged on 12/17/2020, tested/reviewed on 06/13/2021, exactly 178 days later, lot # 20-P90
Pricing Details: Purchased 3.5 grams for $40.00 at Shelter Market ($11.43/gram).
Appearance:

This Cherry Punch came in an awesome reusable glass container that had only two fairly large nugs in it; they didn’t look too big but felt very dense and looked so perfectly trimmed that it’s hard to believe that it’s hand-trimmed. Organnicraft had already answered a few folks on Twitter concerning that exact issue (see below).
Unfortunately, as great as the weed looked, it was slightly underweight at 3.41 grams. Completely covered in trichomes, the rock-hard buds were of bright green color with some navy cues on the leaves and reddish pistils intertwined in there.
Let’s talk about moisture content, the RH was 31% in the container, which usually would be powder dry, but it wasn’t the case. It was a little dry which makes sense since it was packaged a while ago, but the weed still busts up to sticky powder that burns great.Â
Every thing we do is by hand! No automation or machines involved in any part of the trimming process. We just have high standards for Quality and may have been a bit careful to ensure every bud that was packed was of the highest quality.

Aroma:

This Cherry Punch will make your friends look twice to make sure that it’s the actual weed that they’re smelling, this really happened to me, my buddy had to take a second look! This is Black Cherry Punch, but even more Cherry; it’s unlike any flower I’ve smelled before.
It’s accented by some heavy skunky, and woodsy notes, but that cherry scent is over-powering and just very impressive.
Flavor/Smoke:

Let’s talk smoke first, I don’t know about you, but I just love when a joint creates big puffy clouds of smoke, and that was the case with this strain. On top of that, this was some of the smoothest weed I’ve tried so far. When it comes to the actual flavor, the sweet cherry is quite powerful, especially on the exhale.
Your palate will be quite satisfied smoking this Cherry Punch.
Effects:

Between the complex terpene profile and the high THC content, this Cherry Punch definitely packs a…punch. I instantly felt it between the eyes, and this isn’t the type of weed I would give to someone that never smoked before.
The effects were mostly cerebral to start with, but the body loosened up quite a bit as well mid-high. The main effects lasted for about 60 minutes, and I felt awesome once they wore off.
Overall:
When it comes to aroma and flavor, this Cherry Punch cultivar is as unique as they come; people will second-guess that it’s actual weed that they’re smelling if you would make them do a smell test. I would highly recommend this to experienced users, but I think that beginners should stay away.
