This Alien Dawg is made by Dubon (High Park Company) and is a pretty strong strain that packs a heavy punch. It’s an Indica-dominant that has between 16 and 24% THC, this one that I’m reviewing specifically stands strong at 20.4% THC and an inconsiderable amount of CBD.
(Make sure to check out my review of Glueberry and Planet of the Grapes Strain as well.)
The dominant terpene in this Alien Dawg is limonene, which provides anxiety and stress relief. The secondary and tertiary terpenes are caryophyllene and humulene, which both provide anti-inflammatory effects. It is a cross between Chemdawg and Alien Technology.

Appearance: 2.5/5
The colors on this bud are awesome; it’s of a two-tone green color, most of it light with some darker spots (mostly on the leaves), and everything is covered with trichomes and with bright orange pistils sticking out.
The nugs were also very fresh and somewhat dense but way too small for my liking. I wasn’t a fan of the trimming job, either.
Aroma: 2/5
The aroma was not my favorite aspect of this Alien Dawg strain review; however, I’ve definitely come across worst-smelling strains. It has a musky, woody, and earthy type of smell, and I found that the limonene didn’t emit much of a citrusy or lemony scent.

Flavor: 3.5/5
On the inhale, there were earthy and herbal flavors, and I found that on the exhale, this is where the fruity and citrusy undertones appear. There was also a freshness to it that’s hard to describe.
it just makes the joint burn perfectly; the smoke was very smooth as well, without any itching to the throat or coughing. A really enjoyable smoking experience.
Effects 3.5/5
This is some potent stuff right here, and this Alien Dawg strain will get you so high you may actually hang out with some aliens. A very uplifting buzz; even though it’s pretty strong and kinda slows you down as it creeps up on you, it’s euphoric, not overly aggressive.
The high lasted about 1 hour, and there was definitely a downer to it, which included wanting sweets and passing out. The limonene effects are very present when it comes to anti-stress and anti-anxiety.
Overall: 3/5
Overall, this was an enjoyable strain that I would buy again. I would recommend this to everyday smokers and beginners. However, beginners, beware and take it slow because it’ll hit you like a slap in the face. It would be great to socialize with friends, watch something funny on TV, or even go to sleep.
I didn’t really feel like doing anything too productive, but I was still pretty functional until the downer hit, then it’s straight to sleep. Please leave your review of this strain in the comments below (and PLEASE add the package date).
