For this cannabis strain review, I tried out some ย Unite Organic (LA Confidential) ย that The Green Organic Dutchman makes. This company prides itself on growing its products organically by feeding the living organisms within the soil instead of loading up the soil with nutrients for the plants.
Basically, the soil becomes more fertile with every crop, when usually it’s the opposite. That’s great and all; however, I found the cannabis itself to be underwhelming.
This Unite batch came in with ย 19.2% THCย (The range is 19% to 24% THC). This is an ย Indica-dominant strain, and below is a breakdown of every aspect of this cultivar in detail.
Lineage: O.G. LA Affie and a pure landrace Afghani Indica.
Terpene Profile: Pinene, myrcene, ocimene and caryophyllene.
Packaging Details: Packaged on 10/08/2020 and tested/reviewed on 11/08/2020, exactly 31 days later. Lot# 209371
Pricing Details: Purchased 3.5 grams for $39.40 at the SQDC in Montreal, Quebec, Canada ($11.26/gram).

Appearance: 2/5
If I would focus more on the actual packaging when it comes to appearance, this would probably get a higher score. The funky design in itself looks pretty sleek (see below), it’s also sustainable, it definitely stands out, and I’m all for glass containers.
Sure, the packaging is a part of it, and although this may have gotten an extra point or so, my reviews focus more on the flower itself, and unfortunately, this is where The Green Organic Dutchman has failed. The buds felt loose and soulless; it felt like there was no love put into growing this product.
It gave me mass-production vibes and carelessness; the colors didn’t stand out either. Not many trichomes weren’t intact, and the RH% inside the container was at 42%, and the weed was dry. Not a fan.
Aroma: 1/5
Sure, it smells like weed, whoop-ti-do. If it would smell like, let’s say, mold, then the score would be at zero. Interestingly enough, their website states that this Unite Organic or LA Confidential “is the perfect balance between fruity OG flavors and earthy tones”โฆ.there were no fruity OG flavors, none, zero, zilch.
Some very slight, muted, earthy tones, sure. My best way to describe the aroma or even the flavor on this would be: RIP to the terpsโฆ

Flavor: 1/5
I’m not sure what to say here; not only was there absolutely nothing left on the palate once all the smoke cleared out, but you also feel like you’re going to cough half a lung out after a few draws. Do better, guys.
Effects: 2.5/5
This is the only aspect where this Unite Organic (LA Confidential) strain review doesn’t sound sad. The effects that this cultivar gave off were possible, as in just average, nothing to write home about.
You get high, so it is indeed weed; it’s more of a head high; I felt sloppy and lethargic after smoking this. The high lasted less than an hour; the brain wasn’t very functional after the fact.
Overall: 1.5/5
I would not recommend this to anybody, save your money. This would’ve gotten a bad review no matter its price, but the cost here is actually in the upper echelon; it’s one of the more expensive strains, which makes it even less worth it. Stay away from this one, guys.
Also, I recommend you check out Quadra Strain Review, which is one of my favorites.
Will I try their other products in the future? Of course, I will, so you don’t have to!
