Royal King Seeds Review: Are They Worthy of The Throne?

Royal King Seeds sells feminized, autoflowering and CBD cannabis seeds that it says come from its own in-house breeding team, Royal King Genetics.

Its current site offers regional stores, stealth packaging, tracked delivery and a 95% germination guarantee. I also like how easy the site is to navigate.

Check the law before you order. Buying, importing or germinating cannabis seeds is illegal in many countries and some US states. In the US, the new federal hemp definition in P.L. 119-37 excludes viable seeds from cannabis plants that exceed 0.3% total THC, and the Congressional Research Service reports that most of the new definition takes effect December 11, 2026. Marijuana is still a Schedule I drug under US federal law outside narrow 2026 exceptions for FDA-approved and state-licensed medical products, and state laws differ. Growing is only for adults 21+ where home cultivation is legal.

Here are the highlights:

• In-house breeding team (Royal King Genetics)
• Feminized, autoflowering and CBD seeds
• Regional stores, including the US, Canada, the UK and several EU countries
• Tracked delivery in 3 to 7 business days within the US, per its US store page
• Stealth packaging
• 95% germination guarantee (replacement, with conditions)

Reputation & A Brief History of Royal King Seeds

Royal King Seeds describes itself as a working breeding operation rather than a reseller. Its about page says each seed line is selected, stabilized and germination-tested by its in-house team before it ships.

We could not confirm details from our earlier review, such as its founding year and headquarters, on the current site, so we've left them out.

Royal King Seeds stocks feminized and autoflowering seeds for both beginners and seasoned growers.

When I’m browsing through their store, I know why I’m here and what I’m looking for. Before you buy from any seed bank, check recent customer reviews and the company's own policy pages.

Seed Selection & Quality Offered By Royal King Seeds

Whether you’re looking for CBD-rich seeds or autoflowering seeds that are easy to grow, you’ll find options here. The US store lists 200+ genetics.

Royal King Seeds says every release batch is germination-tested and that batches below 95% are pulled. That's the company's own testing, so your results at home can be lower. If you can't decide, you can reach out to their customer staff.

Feminized Seeds

In the first category, the Royal King Seeds online store has carried well-known strains such as Acapulco Gold, 9 Pound Hammer, Maui Pineapple Chunk and Abusive OG. Check the store for current stock.

Autoflowering Seeds

The autoflowering category has included White Widow, 5th Element, Blue Dream, 303 OG and Grease Monkey autoflowers.

At the time of our original review, they also sold mix packs of best-selling strains.

Pricing

If you’re frugal like me (and that’s not a bad thing), you’re probably looking for the best quality at the best price.

Prices vary by strain, pack size and regional store, and they change often, so check the current price before you order.

Website Experience

Overall, the website is simply designed and looks elegant. It is easy to navigate and order from, and the interface is quite user-friendly.

You can pick your regional store, then browse product categories such as feminized seeds, autoflowering seeds and CBD seeds.

Their self-help FAQ section is worth a look, and the site also has growing guides for beginners.

Payments

Payment options depend on the regional store you order from, and each store charges in its local currency (for example, USD in the US store and CAD in the Canadian store).

At the time of our original review, Royal King Seeds accepted Zelle, mailed payments, Interac eTransfer for Canadian customers and cryptocurrency, but not credit cards or PayPal. Check checkout for current options.

Germination Guarantee and Returns

Royal King Seeds offers a 95% germination guarantee. If fewer than 95% of eligible seeds germinate when you follow its required paper towel method, it replaces them.

There are conditions. Seeds must be stored cool, dark and dry and germinated within 90 days of delivery. The replacement is the only remedy; it is not a refund.

Read the full guarantee page before you order, since terms can change.
