This was my first Cove Crafted experience, and I was very impressed; you’ll be able to tell by the end of this Revive Reserve strain review. Terpene-rich, hand-trimmed, and hang-dried, this is the type of quality that every cannabis consumer should be getting.
This cultivar has a THC content of anywhere between 16% and 22%; this batch had 19.1% THC and a negligible amount of CBD. It’s a delightful Sativa hybrid strain with a pretty complicated lineage that took a little bit of research to figure out.
Terpene Profile: The dominant terpenes on this strain are caryophyllene, humulene and limonene. The exact amounts were not available.
Lineage: This Revive Reserve strain has a complicated lineage; maybe it’s just a little complicated for me because I’m not too familiar with the parents here. It’s a cross of Mint GSC and Lucinda Williams.
According to Leafly, a cross of Durban Poison and OG Kush create Mint GSC, while Lucinda Williams is a strain made by Kind Meds Colorado that’s supposed to be a cross between Williams Wonder and Cindy 99.

Appearance: 3.5/5
There were only two nugs in the 3.5 gram container, which was great and very different from what I’m used to; outside of Broken Coast, it’s pretty rare to see such big buds. They were very dense and perfectly trimmed and looked fantastic.
This Revive Reserve (not a big fan of the strain name, just saying to make it simpler) strain is of a light green taint with some dark green leaves, covered with a thin sheet of amber trichomes. Visually pleasant, but it came in at 46% humidity content, which isn’t the end of the world, but I still had to rehydrate it to 62% to get the full experience.
Aroma: 4.5/5
What an aromatic strain this is; it seems like the complicated lineage paid off. The scents are powerful and probably some of the most pleasant-smelling weed that I’ve tried out so far. It’s a mix of citrus, grapefruit, and a touch of mint; it smells sweet and fresh, and the smell came out even more after rehydration.
Cove Crafted should think about making air fresheners with this terpene profile!

Flavor: 2.5/5
The flavor was slightly underwhelming compared to the aroma; even though the citrusy notes came out on the inhale, it was way more subtle. There was a fresh hint of mint and earthiness on the exhale; however, something was missing here still. The smoke was very smooth, though, no coughing and no scratchy throat situation.
Effects: 3/5
The effects that this strain emits were very enjoyable as they weren’t too aggressive; this weed gives you some really happy and relaxed type of feelings. More of a head high than a body high. I tried this out before working and while just chilling out and enjoyed it both times.
I wouldn’t smoke this right before bed; although I felt relaxed, I was still pretty energized.
Overall: 3.5/5
Unlike Platinum Cake Strain, I would recommend this to beginners and everyday consumers; I feel like everybody would enjoy a little bit of Revive Reserve (did I mention how much I don’t like these types of names, though??). If more Cove Crafted products were available,
I would be trying them for sure. Craft cannabis hits a little differently; you can usually tell when weed is hand-trimmed. If you’ve tried some of this out before, let me know what you think in the comments below!
