The Mad Max strain can be misleading. Sighting its name, you would expect to get a strain packed with insane amounts of THC. Rather, it’s mild and actually boosts productivity with a fast and hard-hitting buzz. It’s like the phoenix; you feel fresh and alive after burning a chalice. 

Mad Max is a Sativa-Dominant strain (60% Sativa, 40% Indica) and works well for getting out of a rut. It produces a head high that improves focus and creativity, making music, arts, and socializing more fun.

Unsurprisingly, the Mad Max strain isn’t eye candy. It’s a hell of a nug though, but I don’t fancy the brown trichome hairs on its olive-green buds.

The orange glow in the bud gives it a fiery but deceptive appearance of a strain packed with THC. But I was impressed by the packaging and its excellent trim job.

Overall, the Mad Max strain looked promising, and deliver, it did, with a mind-numbing smoke sesh.

There is a unique, but pungent fragrance to the Mad Max strain. It has an earthy pine scent with woody undertones, which must be a signature smell because it’s just amazing. It also happened to have the smell of freshly-brewed coffee in a cafe.

Overall, the dominant aromas of this weed are zesty, spicy, and lemon. the smell alone elevated my mood. They sure weren’t fooling around with those terpene percentages. Once again, it’s the earthy smell for me.

The Mad Max strain has an earthy flavor of lemons and citrus. It’s sweet and infused with a fruity flavor infused and lightly flowery exhale with intensifying spiciness on each drag. 

The taste is that of herbs and tart fruit. I particularly enjoyed the zesty flavor. The taste of this strain is undisputed. The smoke was as clear as day, and you just can’t help but dig this particular cannabis strain.

The effects of the Mad Max strain can easily be called euphoric. It takes a few tokes, but the light-headed buzz hits immediately. This uplifting feeling oozes a spur of energy, creativity, and productivity that inspires you to clear out your to-do list. 

After a joint of this cannabis strain, the uplifting feelings stick but you also get light body effects of relaxation. Definitely a day-and-night strain. It sets the mood for a clean weekend day or clears your head at night after a long day at work.
