Stuffed French Toast Strain Review (Qwest)

Mention stuffed French toast, and for sure, many of you will immediately think of a delicious, sweet, and filling breakfast or snack. In this Stuffed French Toast Strain review, however, that’s obviously not what we’ll be talking about. Instead, I’ll share with you my experience taking a slightly Indica-dominant hybrid (60% Indica, 40% Sativa).

With a THC of 28.99%, it delivers an incredible cerebral high. Vibrant at the start and sedative towards the end, the effect of this strain is notable, although not as robust as what you can expect from more prominent strains.

  • Lineage: Paris OG x Face Off OG BX2
  • Type: Hybrid
  • Potency: 28.99% THC
  • Terpene Profile: Myrcene, caryophyllene, limonene
  • Packaging Details: Packaged on 10/2/2021, tested and reviewed on 10/17/2021 (15 days later)
  • Pricing Details: Purchased 1 ounce for $250 at Smoke Cantina ($8.99 per gram)

Appearance: 3.5/5

The Stuffed French Toast strain has round and fluffy forest green nugs. I also noticed small spots surrounded by tiny orange hairs and trichomes.

Right out of the packaging, the buds look fresh. Upon opening, I saw small buds the same size as marbles. They aren’t very dense. To add, they’re quite sticky when pressed, which is indicative of the presence of generous trichomes.

Visually speaking, there’s nothing spectacular. I did not see anything notable. The look of it was not enough to make me excited.

I also like how it came with a moisture shield. The latter played a crucial role in keeping the product fresh.

Aroma: 3/5

Same with its appearance, there’s nothing special about how the Stuffed French Toast Strain smells.

Right out of the container, it has a muted smell. There’s nothing immediately apparent. After a while, I can smell green tea, orange, and spices. I can also smell hints of maple syrup and cinnamon. After all, it should replicate the aroma of French toast.

Flavor: 3.5/5

One thing I would like to highlight in this Stuffed French Toast Strain review is that it tastes better than it smells and looks. I had low expectations upon taking this strain, so I was not disappointed to know that the flavor is a bit underwhelming.

Staying true to its name, the flavor is reminiscent of French toast, although it isn’t too strong. It has a sweet flavor with cinnamon being a dominant component. In addition, it is earthy, which can be a result of containing myrcene. This terpene is known for being sedative, but because the strain only contains a small percentage of it, the effect isn’t too evident.

Effects: 4/5

It can deliver a cerebral high, but it isn’t as potent as what I experienced from other strains. Right after inhalation, I experienced a buzzing euphoria. Within a few minutes, I was feeling heady. This sedative effect, however, did not last long. It was also weak.

With its slightly relaxing effect, most people take it for chronic anxiety, muscle spasms, and chronic stress. Still, the effect could have been stronger. But given its price, it’s acceptable.

Overall: 3.5/5

As highlighted in this Stuffed French Toast Strain review, this Indica-dominant hybrid is affordable, which makes it a good choice for newbies. Unfortunately, the price is its only strong suit. The flavor and aroma are weak, even if you can notice hints of sweet maple, cinnamon, orange, and spices. As for the effects, it can produce a cerebral high, but that’s quite weak.

Alternatives

I’m not a big fan of Stuffed French Toast Strain, although it can be a good choice for beginners on a budget. If you’re looking at other alternatives, here are some options to consider:

  • Jet Fuel Gelato: I love its strong mental effect, which is perfect if you want to feel motivated and energized. It’s also good for pain relief and anxiety.
  • Power Sherb: It has better sedative properties compared to Stuffed French Toast. It made me happy and calm, which can make a good choice for those who have depression.
