In this Purple Pancakes Strain review, I will walk you through my experience in using another hybrid with potent THC. This Indica-dominant isn’t too popular, but I managed to get my hand on one, so let me walk you through it. 

The Purple Pancakes Strain is a hybrid from 7ACRES. It has an aromatic profile that is fitting for a delicious dessert. It’s a cross of Slurricane and Pancakes, which are two strains that are also hybrids. As such, you can expect complex flavor profiles.

The incredible bag appeal is one of the first things that caught my attention in this hybrid strain. The buds are light to medium green with hints of purple. In addition, the orange pistils are highly evident. It is frosty and dense, enough to make me excited about what’s to come. The buds are generously coated in trichomes. 

As for the packaging, it’s pretty much the same as many of the cannabis strains I tried. It’s in a vacuum-sealed bag for freshness. I love how the pouch is resealable, which protects the buds from external elements that can ruin their quality.

Another thing I would like to highlight in this Purple Pancakes Strain review is its aromatic profile. I was initially thinking of something that will remind me of breakfast. However, upon opening the bag, I was reminded of a sweet and flavorful dessert instead.

The dominant terpene is limonene, which comes from citrus fruits. This is also apparent in the strain’s aroma. 

It has hints of sweet and buttery cake. The latter is perhaps because of its lineage. One of its main components is Pancakes, which is a cross of London Pound Cake and Kush Mints. It also contains Slurricane, which is a hybrid of Purple Punch and Dosidos. All of these strains are known for their sweet aroma that does not overwhelm the user.

Berry vanilla and pancakes are the dominant flavors I observed in this cannabis strain. I can describe it as a combination of sweet and creamy, exactly how I like my pancakes. Within the first hit, the flavors are apparent. This is unlike others wherein it takes a while for the taste to show up. I guess, the aroma has contributed to its robust flavor. 

Aside from sweet cake, it also has a flavor that reminded me of tropical berries. This adds tartiness to the weed. And to balance it out, there’s also fuel, which does not overpower the creaminess and sweetness of the weed.

As an Indica-dominant strain, the Purple Pancakes strain delivers a full-body effect. I took it late in the afternoon, and within a few minutes, I experienced deep relaxation. For sure, this can be a good strain to help put you to sleep. 

It’s also worth sharing that I have chronic back pain. I cannot sit or lie down for an extended period without complaining about how painful my back gets. The Purple Pancakes Strain was a lifesaver. It helped manage my pain. 

While the effect is notable, I find it quite short-lived. It would have been better if it was longer-lasting.

I can suggest this purple strain to people who are looking for good relaxation or sleep. It’s like you’re relaxing on clouds with soft music playing in the background, and I’m, not even exaggerating. I just wished that the effects lasted longer.
