Get Seeds Right Here isn’t at the top of the list of the best-known brands, and many people may not have heard of it. That alone isn’t a reason to rule it out.
Legal note: This review is for adults 21+ in places where home growing is legal. Cannabis is still a Schedule I drug under US federal law, except for FDA-approved products and state-licensed medical marijuana, which a 2026 Justice Department order moved to Schedule III. State laws on growing differ.
Shipping seeds or clones also carries legal risk. Under the new federal hemp definition in P.L. 119-37, viable seeds from plants above 0.3% total THC are excluded from hemp, with parts of that change taking effect December 11, 2026, per the Congressional Research Service. Check your state's rules before ordering.

GSRH is a US-based genetics seller in Aurora, Colorado. When we first reviewed it, its catalog was small next to the largest seed banks. Today its website focuses mainly on live clones, with a separate link to shop seeds.
The site now lists shipping to all 50 US states, Washington, DC, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands and Guam. Buyers elsewhere are asked to email for options.
Promotions were lacking when we ordered, and we found no germination guarantee for seeds. Clones now come with an "Arrive Alive" replacement guarantee.
How Get Seeds Right Here Started
According to the GSRH FAQ, the company was founded in 2015 by Michael "Bike" Hawley. It says he started selling genetics through Facebook and Instagram in 2010 before moving to a dedicated website.
Earlier, breeders such as Ethos Genetics and Rare Darkness sold their seeds through the platform. Other breeders joined over time.
Seed Selection & Quality
Whether you’re a new grower or a seasoned one, selection is an important consideration. I like sellers that offer variety.
When we first reviewed GSRH, its seed selection was decent but small compared with the biggest seed banks. Its breeders included Skunk House, Maha Kala, Cannabinology and Ethos Seeds. The current site leads with clones, so check the seed section for what is in stock.
Larger seed banks such as Herbies carry far more strains and breeders, so you’ll have more choice elsewhere.
No Germination Guarantee Specified
When I spend money on cannabis seeds, I look for good service. I like it when sellers offer germination guarantees, which give me peace of mind.
We could not find a germination guarantee for seeds on the GSRH website. Its posted guarantee covers clones that arrive dead or damaged.
In contrast, I Love Growing Marijuana (ILGM) advertises a germination guarantee. Read the terms of any guarantee before you order, since conditions apply.
Clones are Also Available
Clones are now the main focus at GSRH.
Clones are cuttings from female mother plants. They skip germination, so they get to harvest sooner than seeds and copy the mother plant's traits.
The site groups its clones into categories such as Old School, Newer Strains, Washers and Dumpers, High THC, Breeder Cuts, Pheno Hunted, Pre-Order and Easy to Grow. GSRH says it tests its mother plants for hop latent viroid (HLVd).
Pricing
Pricing for cannabis seeds varies with the strain, seed type (regular, feminized, autoflowering) and breeder. Get Seeds Right Here offers a range of prices.
To give you an idea, here’s what some seeds I ordered cost at the time of my order:
- Girl Scout Cookies Regular (10-seed pack): $79
- Purple Thai Auto Feminized (10-seed pack): $100
- Bubble Tea (10-seed pack): $250
Overall, the prices were fair, but you can find better deals at other seed banks, such as ILGM and Herbies.
When I compared Girl Scout Cookies at Herbies and ILGM, they came out cheaper once their free-seed offers were counted.
A quick note: these prices were true at the time of my order. They change over time, so check the website for current costs.

Promos are a good way to save money without giving up quality.
Unfortunately, GSRH had no promos or discounts when I checked its website and social media pages.
Customer Service
Over the years I’ve been buying cannabis seeds, I’ve run into delayed shipping and poor quality. That’s why I value good customer service.
I had zero issues with my orders at GSRH. If you need help, you can reach them by email at [email protected]. The site also offers a clone replacement form.
One thing that’s notably missing, however, is live chat support. I would prefer it, since it makes reaching the support team quicker.

The website is simple and clutter-free, so it’s easy to find what you’re looking for.
You can filter by category, and there are separate sections for clones and seeds. Nothing really sets it apart from other sellers.
Payment Methods
When I ordered, GSRH accepted several payment methods, including cards and Cash App. Payment options change, so check the checkout page for the current list.
I did not find discounts for any payment method.
Shipping
GSRH lists nationwide US shipping, and its clone orders ship by UPS Next Day Air. It says it ships most orders Monday to Wednesday so plants don’t sit in transit over a weekend.
Its FAQ gives a general delivery window of 2 to 7 business days. If a clone arrives dead or badly damaged, the FAQ asks you to send photos within 24 hours of delivery for a replacement or credit.
GSRH’s own FAQ says clones under 0.3% delta-9 THC count as hemp under the 2018 Farm Bill. The new federal hemp definition changes that test, so don’t rely on the seller’s legal summary. Check your state's law before ordering.
When we ordered, returns and exchanges were not allowed, and all sales were final. Check the current Shipping & Refund Policy before you buy.

Get Seeds Right Here isn’t new, but it’s smaller than many established seed banks. If you’re looking for alternatives, below are some names to consider:

- Herbies: A well-known seed bank, Herbies offers free seeds with orders. You’ll find more strains there than at GSRH.
Overall
GSRH is a decent choice for US growers, especially those who want clones from a Colorado nursery. Its seed selection is smaller than the biggest seed banks.
There is room to improve, from adding promos to clearer seed guarantees. Compare it with other sellers before you order.
