Prepare to experience the high-grade, slow-mo, Netflix-and-chill weed in this Dirty Banana Strain review.
Dirty B, as some connoisseurs call it, is an indoor-bred hybrid strain by EastCann – a Nova Scotia, Canada grower. These bright minds crossed the Banana OG and Kush Mints #11 to bring up the sweet nug we’ll now explore.Â
The Dirty Banana combines the two strains’ relaxing, couch-lock, and uplifting effects to produce a sleepy strain to ease stress, anxiety, depression, and nausea.
The high is enjoyable and perfect for both newbies and stoners, despite its high THC content. However, Dirty Diana takes both their flavor traits leaning toward one than the other. You’d be surprised it’s not banana.
Let’s get to know the Dirty Diana strain better without further ado.

Appearance 4/5
The Dirty Banana Strain came in an airtight plastic container. It had a medical-grade quality with two lids to keep the buds fresh. Inside were five beautiful, hand-trimmed, light green Dirty B buds covered in pale brown crystals (trichomes) from the flowers.
They were densely packed and soft, really soft. It was almost as if you could consume them in a vape or hand crush – I was right.
The Dirty Banana strain blends well in a crusher and rolls up into a blunt smoothly and tightly. And that gave a better overall smoking experience – little to zero light outs and no canoeing throughout the smoke sesh.
Aroma 3/5
You’d be disappointed if you expect the Dirty Banana Strain to be fruity or smell like a banana shake. However, it’s, ironically, one of the best-smelling, pungent, and earthy strains. Although it’s nothing like skunk weed, with its soothing kiwi smell and undertones of honey and banana.
Ultimately, it didn’t smell like bananas or a sweet banana-flavored product, at least. I’ll say: a smoked banana peel aroma, as a credit to the earthy hints from smoking this strain.

Flavor 4/5
The sweet smell I perceived when I opened the cup down to the rolling ritual transcended into the joint I lit. It had a honey-like “roasted banana peel” taste with hints of tartness that was unsurprisingly pleasurable.
But amateur stoners who expect a banana flavor may feel disappointed by its branding. Nonetheless, connoisseurs will know Dirty Banana is standard for an earthy and sweet strain. Most banana OGs are usually citrusy or earthy and only have a tinge of banana smell/taste.
Effects 3.5/5
While my initial plan going into the smoke sesh with the Dirty Banana Strain was to get knocked out due to its 35%+ THC level – it turned out to be a potent hit. It delivered a relaxing body high that left me stricken to my couch. I cleared eight episodes of Suits with this high, which would normally take a week or two to finish.
At this moment, I realized the accuracy of its dominant Beta-Caryophyllene terps – a terpene for relaxation and calming anxiety. It also has euphoric effects and other “head highs” despite its strong indica profile.
Dirty B’s THC potency was no joke, though, because it hit hard and fast. So any newbie better hit a toke, take in the effects, but still go slow afterward.
Overall 4/5
The Dirty Banana Strain is a high-grade kush better suited for fans of lemon and banana strains. But it’s a “dirty” strain that misleads you about its flavor and effects. Dirty B smells more like kiwi fruit with notes of banana and honey.
Further, it won’t blow your mind if you bank on its over 30% THC level. While I won’t consider the Dirty Banana Strain a contender for my stash box because it leans towards a head-high, it hits fast and hard. I prefer fruity and more potent strains that can knock me out or sativa bud for waviness. But if you’re a fan of a creeping high, the Dirty Banana Kush won’t disappoint.
