Caramel Apple Gelato Strain Review (Nature’s Remedy – Jane)

Finally, I got my fingers on the Caramel Apple Gelato Strain – a cross of Apple Cider and Jet Fuel Gelato. It’s an Indica-dominant nug, true to its name, with a sweet, fruity flavor that leaves me reminiscing about Meemaw’s homemade caramel apples.

That’s right. A hit of this strain mostly gave uplifting and euphoric feels. It’s neither hyper nor sedating but puts you in a relaxed, focused, and creative mood.

The Caramel Apple Gelato will blow your mind, literally, so newbie consumers should tread lightly. It’s got a strong THC content of 22.8%( varies between 15% and 25%) and 0.06% CBD. I have never tried any product with this terpene percentage, which is more reason for my excitement, and I must say the Caramel Apple Gelato did blow my mind.

Below is a more in-depth breakdown of this strain:

  • Lineage: Apple Cider x Jet Fuel Gelato
  • Type: Indica-dominant
  • Potency: 15-25% THC, 0.06% CBD
  • Terpene Profile: Pinene(0.06%), Limonene(0.26%), Myrcene(0.1%), Ocimene(0.02%)
  • Packaging Details: Packaged on 02/02/2023, tested/reviewed on 05/03/2023
  • Pricing Details: Purchased 3.5 grams at the SDQC in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, for $23.20

Appearance: 4.5/5

The Caramel Apple Gelato strain is mostly spongy and sticky because of an abundance of trichomes. It looks like a fiery bud of OG kush in predominantly medium to large buds with its light green and orange appearance.

It’s a prime candidate for users who want to collect kief or make hash. The thick coating of trichomes gives her a frosty appearance. Size-wise, there were four medium nugs and a couple of small ones. The bag appeal was flawless, and the trim job was just as impeccable.

Overall, the Caramel Apple Gelato strain has a visually appealing appearance, vibrant colors, and a frosty texture.

Aroma: 4/5

Ordinarily, when you hear caramel and apple, you can guess to expect notes of caramel or apple from the strain. And you’ll be right. Caramel apple gelato buds smell sweet and buttery with a whiff of fresh, crisp apple scent that tempts you to drop another one in the herb grinder.

Again, it reminds me of my Meemaw’s caramel apples. It’s understandable if you don’t smell caramel apples. But you’ll be hit with a fruity aroma, with notes of citrus and berries, once you open the bag.

Flavor: 4.5/5

The Caramel Apple Gelato terps taste even stronger than they stank. It’s got a sweet, fruity flavor with hints of caramel, a creamy, smooth texture on the inhale, and some buttery notes on the exhale and aftertaste. It tastes like caramel apple, but more realistically, it’s creamy and earthy.

This tea is smooth as butter, and I couldn’t get enough of it! One drag and you’d just want to be chilled and ready to roll more joints.

Effects: 4/5

The Caramel Apple Gelato strain’s effect is what I refer to as euphoric in one word. The “high” it releases is ecstatic, leaving you feeling elated, exhilarated, and uplifted.

There’s this rush that I get from the strain that leaves me in a meditative-like state.

Although you can enjoy the cruise of the Caramel Apple Gelato strain at any time, I prefer having one in the evening to cool off on a high note. Trust me, the feeling is truly euphoric, and it’s a must-try!

Overall: 4/5

I am in total awe of this strain and recommend it to everyone looking for an escape route to euphoria. From the pricing to the terpene percentage on the packing, the flavor, and the effect, this is what I consider happiness in a bag. I don’t even doubt their consistency because one joint in, and you could easily tell they know their onions well.

Alternatives

Some other fruity and potent strains, like the Caramel Apple Gelato, are Guava Jelly, Nitro Cookies, and White Strawberry. They are complex hybrid strains that embrace that share sweet-smelling names.

  • Guava Jelly – Also fruity but is much more colorful and produces harder-hitting effects. It’s also a sativa-dominant hybrid, crossing Wedding Cheesecake, Durban Poison, OG Kush, and Strawberry Kush
  • Nitro Cookies – Pungent gassy and earthy aroma with relaxing, pain relief, and euphoric effects
  • White Strawberry – fruity flavor with a mild high but similar mood and appetite-enhancing effects

But users say the high from the Caramel Apple Gelato strain lingers longer than the rest. Although the Caramel Apple Gelato Strain leaves me with a dry mouth afterward, unlike the rest, there is nothing a chilled drink can’t solve.
